I don’t shoot a lot of racing, not properly anyway. But when the UCI ProTour comes to withing 3 hours of you it’s incumbent you take advantage of such circumstances. So made a quick trip up to Montreal on Saturday for yesterday’s racing. It was, well, it was race shooting. Not the most thrilling circuit to shoot, although it produced pretty good racing. And while Peter Sagan was clearly disappointed to finish second, the normally inscrutable Slovak showed what passed for emotion by burying his face in a towel after crossing the line. From a man-child whose blanks stares are only matched by his barely ever uttering a word in any language, this was as much as I could hope for.
