Take What You Can

It’s been a tough winter so far – consistently cold and a LOT of snow. We got another foot-plus on Wednesday, but since I knew it was coming and that it was going to be dumping hard for a lot of the day, I decided to make the best of it. So we went out in the thick of it, set up the strobes, and did what we could. The snow was falling fast enough that we were limited as to where we could shoot, not all roads were passable. But luckily traffic was light on the road that were. I was interested to see how shooting in very heavy snow would work with the lights and as I suspected it works great, really good details etc. The snow was cold enough that things didn’t get too soaked – neither us nor the gear. It was well worth the couple hours we spent.
