Good News-Bad News

It’s not often you get the diagnosis of a torn labrum (in the shoulder) and consider it good news. But there you go. Doc said my shoulder is stable, that the separation wasn’t too bad, but that I tore my labrum – how bad she can’t tell without a MRI. Based on how hard I wrecked I can’t believe this was all that happened. I can live with the torn labrum for now and seems like I can also ride with it as is. As for racing, only trying to race will tell that story but it seems good. I just have to be careful the positions I put my shoulder in, which isn’t always possible when going full gas with a bunch of other knuckleheads trying to do the same thing. As for shooting, luckily the injury hasn’t effected my ability to hold the camera at all. Phew.
