The Pay Off
In his matter-of-fact way Joe Dombrowski was telling stories about his injury, about his surgery, and about two years of frustrations. But he never sounded frustrated or bitter or weighed down by ‘what ifs’. Rather, at 24, a young athlete just happy to be healthy enough to engage in the activity he’d found he was exceptional at doing. And now six months later, after he wins the Tour of Utah, it’s nice to look through the images and see the pay off.
