Good and Sad

Just got the chance to scan the 120 I took on RAAM and this one caught my eye. Took it out in the Sonoran Desert right before we got to the Imperial Dunes. It was so freakin hot when we stopped to take this, must haave been near 110. Really incredible. The sad part is that this is Bob Breedlove, some four days before he was killed in the race.

Rode almost 5 hours this weekend and felt fine. Got into some new singletrack up in the hills outside Lyme. I’m really lucky to have this kind of riding right out my back door, just hours and hours of the best possible East Coast tight woods riding. I head over to Maine tomorrow to do a shoot/ride for a magazine, should be excellent adventure, but holy smokes is it a long drive, 5+ hours.
